Black Pepper chicken

Thinking what to make for Sunday Supper?? We have brought to you a delicious recipe of "Chicken Black pepper"



Let's dig in :

Chicken black pepper



1kg Chicken

1 tsp Black pepper

7-8 green chilli

2 Red chilli dry

5 onion

1 Tomato

2 tsp Ginger garlic paste

2 tbsp Curd

Turmeric powder

Mustard oil

Salt

3-4 Green Cardamom

2-3 Bay leaf

1/2 Inch Cinnamon stick

1 Cardamom

1 Chakri

Coriander leaves

Kasturi methi



For Homemade Garam masala

1-2 Green Cardamom

1 Bay leaf

Cinnamon stick

1 Cardamom

1 Chakri



Process :



Clean & wash the chicken. Add curd, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, black pepper powder, prepared garam masala and mix well with the chicken. Keep the marination for at least 30 minutes. Heat some oil, add whole spices ( green cardamom, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf, Chakri, red dry chilli). Let the spices crackle, add chopped onion. Fry till it turns pink. Add chopped tomatoes, fry well. Once the tomatoes get mushy add a 1 small spoon full of Black pepper powder. Add 1tsp ginger-garlic paste fry until it smells nice. Then add 1 tsp chicken masala and cook the masala well for 5 minutes. Once the oil starts to leave, add chicken pieces. Cook the chicken for 5-10 minutes. Then cover the lid and let it cook for 15-20 minutes. Keep checking the chicken in between. Then crush some kasturi methi and add it to the chicken. Add garam masala and cover the lid for 5 minutes more. After 5 minutes add some freshly chopped coriander leaves and the "Chicken Black pepper" is ready to eat.
