Paneer-Kaju Curry

India has an amazing culinary style. It's a nation of variety of food culture. It includes curries, exotic spices and exceptionally drool worthy vegetarian & non vegetarian options too.

Today in DigInMeal's kitchen we cooked an exotic yet a healthy Vegetarian recipe of "Paneer-Kaju Curry". Both the key ingredients of recipe has high nutritional value to keep you going for the day.

Ingredients :

Butter or Ghee

salt to taste

1 tsp - Cumin seeds

1 - Cardamom

2 - 3 Cloves

1/2 inch - Cinnamon

1 tbsp - Kashmiri red chili powder

1 tsp - Turmeric powder

1/2 tsp - garam masala

1 tsp - kasturi methi

2 cups - Chopped tomato

1 cup - Chopped onion

1 tbsp - Garlic

1 tbsp - Ginger

500 grams - Paneer

1 cup - Cashew

Process :

First take the cashew or Kaju and soak it for 30 minutes. Then heat a pan and add butter in it. Then add the whole spices in it, which Cumin seeds, Cardamom, Cloves, and are Cinnamon, garlic, ginger, onion, and tomatoes. Then stir fry all the ingredients for about a minute. Now add around 1/2 cup of cashew nuts in it and mix for another 30-40 seconds. Then add 1 tsp of salt in it and cover it with a lead and leave it for 10 - 15 minutes. Once the masala is cooked properly, add the red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and Kasturi methi. Let it simmer for 3 to 4 minutes on a medium to low heat. Now it's time to add cream &soaked cashew in it. Mix it well and then add the paneer cubes. Cook for 5 minutes and the Paneer-Kaju Curry is ready to serve. Garnish it with some whole dry fried Cashew nuts & Green Chilies and enjoy the delicacy with some hot parathas.
